OUR MISSION

The Ninety-Nines promotes women's advancement in aviation through education, scholarships, and mutual support, while honoring our unique history and sharing our passion for flight.

Our first elected president was none other than Amelia Earhart herself. Members of The Ninety-Nines are represented in all areas of aviation today - and, to quote Amelia, fly "for the fun of it!"

We congratulate Yogini Modi for a successful completion of "The Women in Leadership" program. The Program is a distinguished professional development initiative co-hosted by Women in Aviation International (WAI) and Harvard University's Division of Continuing Education. Tailored specifically for women in the aviation and aerospace sectors, this program aims to cultivate leadership skills among high-performing professionals poised for advancement.

The program spans three intensive days on Harvard's Cambridge, Massachusetts campus, followed by a virtual coaching session in mid-June.

Curriculum Highlights:

  • Executive communication strategies
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making
  • Negotiation and influence skills
  • Personal leadership development

Open to current WAI members in mid-level management roles within the aviation or aerospace industries. The program is not intended for entry-level or executive-level professionals. Limited to 30 participants to ensure a focused and interactive learning environment.

The program has demonstrated significant positive outcomes:

  • Approximately 90% of past participants have reported career advancements directly attributed to their experience in the program.
  • Graduates benefit from a robust alumni network, fostering ongoing support and professional connections.
